Shelter is a need in human life. That means it is a must for life. Either renting or buying is possible. But it depends on the person who buys or rents it- Are they planning to stay in one place? Are they a “Move and go person?"- That all depends on the person. They may vary in difference in who owns it, payment, and selling. Mostly you just find the advantages and disadvantages and then see which advantages and disadvantages are the best for you.
When you buy a house, it is yours.
You own it. There is no person(landlord) to annoy you. You can do anything with
it, put a new door, paint it, etc. When you rent a house, it's not actually
yours, it's the landlords. You are just buying it from him/her to use the
house. When something goes wrong, then the money has to come from you. There is
stability. When you rent a house, when
something goes wrong, since it is the landlords, the landlord has to fix it.
Landlords also give you rules, something like no pets in the house or no using
the computer for more than 5 hours. So when you buy a house, anything can
happen that can be disastrous to your neighbour. As you see, there are differences between
renting and buying a house.
Payment is also is another
difference between renting and buying. When you rent a house you pay monthly
for the house and the landlord pays for everything else. You don't have to be
bothered by taxes or mortgages. But in reality, you are actually paying for
something you will never own. On the other hand, when you buy a house, you pay
once for the house, then you pay for everything else. The interest you pay each
month on your loan balance is deductible. It is obvious to people that buying a
house is money saving, but renting a house is cheaper and more better for less
fortunate people.
Anything you own you can sell. It
may take a long time, but it eventually will. Most people are impatient so they
don't buy, they rent. When you rented a house and want to move, it's easy. They
don't have to worry about anything. It is easier then to selling a house
because you have to go through a lot of things and it sometimes gets on your
nerves.
