Lego Ad!

This Lego ad, although has very little pictures, has a strong meaning to it. Being paid by Lego, I believe these ads are geared toward kids, since I do not believe many adults play Lego for fun. This ad shows an arrangement of 5 bricks and its shadow is a realistic dinosaur. This shows that with Lego bricks, you can make anything you like with your imagination. I think this ad is very effective, since its use of very little pictures gives an obvious meaning of how great Lego can be in building things- it says that with little Lego, you can make anything you like. It shows how excellent Lego can be to unleash your imagination with just a few blocks.  Lego is an innocent toy, and this ad clearly shows gets the meaning of Lego across.

In this ad hyperbole and bribery is used. Hyperbole is used when the Lego bricks have a shadow of a dinosaur, but obviously the bricks don't actually have the shadow of that. Bribery is sort of used when the Lego bricks are made to have a shadow of a dinosaur. This may say that if you buy Lego, you can do magnificent things with it. The obvious message of this ad is to buy Lego. The hidden message is that if you buy it, you can make virtually anything you like with only a little amount of bricks.
