Plugging In

Always check to see if your appliance (e.g.,computer, oven etc.) is plugged in before you start taking measures to get it turned on.
Apparently my monitor wasn't plugged in and that's why it wasn't turning on.

Here's a thing to keep in mind:

Most bullies only bully you when they are surrounded by a group of people or have a posse with them. They need support to bully you.

Maroon 5

I really like Maroon 5 songs. I think they're great. However, some music videos don't work for me.
Here's the lineup:

Maps- Too gruesome for me

Animals- Too much fake blood, looks really weird

Misery- Lots of beating up and it doesn't make sense to me that Adam Levine's hair is still good looking even after he got thrown around so many times

One More Night- Too sad

By the way, this isn't supposed to hate on Maroon 5 or anything, it really isn't. I just wanted to say my thoughts on a few of their music videos. But seriously, I think their music is good. And yes, I know the music videos are supposed to have meaning behind it, but how the video is portrayed doesn't really work for me.

Terrible things

I just had an exam today and it was supposed to be about the things we have studied over the past few 4 weeks.
However, when I got the exam, it only contained about 5% of everything we learned, nothing else.
I didn't think we had to even study. It was a pity, since I memorized everything word from word on my notes.

Charging an iPad with a Bad Charging Connection

Charging an iPad with a bad charger connection is like having the feeling of mowing dirt.

Energy Poem

Energy sources are all around us
But do we use them wisely enough?
From oil and coal and biomass to tidal
But to us, non-renewable sources like coal and oil are very vital.
All the non- renewable sources are running out
So we need a green technology to think about
We have a lot of green energy which come from the earth.
So if we use the green energy like solar and wind that comes from the earth
We can stop the chemical domination
And save the future generations

Parts of a Hybrid Car

The basic systems of a hybrid car.  It includes a
Set of batteries
A PCU
An electrical engine
A reduction gear
A planetary Gear
A gasoline engine
A generator
They have a lot of machines, which make them go a ton of Km ( well not a ton, but you get the point) slower.
The set of batteries stores electricity for the whole car. The PCU (power control unit) transmits electricity to where it is heading like from the batteries to the electric motor or the generator to the batteries. The electrical engine helps move the car and does most of the work in the cities. The reduction gear is the gear that has to be spinned to spin the wheels in order to make the car move. The planetary gear just connects the gasoline engine and the electrical engine together. The gasoline engine does most of the work when the car is driving at high speeds (on the highway, for example) and also sends a bit of gasoline to the generator. The generator takes gasoline from the gasoline engine and turns it in to electricity for the batteries or the electric motor.

Cell Parts Analogy

The nucleus is like the headquarters of the factory because it controls and coordinates the whole cell in the same way that the headquarters controls and coordinates the activities of the factory.

The nucleolus is like the boss's office in the office because it makes ribosomes in the same way that it makes new rooms (by renovations) in the factory.

The ribosomes are like the crayon making rooms because it manufactures the proteins that are essential for cell growth and survival in the same way that the crayon making rooms make the crayons for the factory's money.

The proteins are like the crayons because it proteins help power the cell in the same way that the crayons in a way power the factory with the money.

The Endoplasmic Reticulum is like the carts/ forklifts because it transports the proteins throughout the cell in the same way the carts/forklifts transport the crayons.

The Golgi apparatus is like the packaging office because it exports the simple proteins throughout the cell in the same way the packaging office packages and exports the crayons to the outside world.

The cell membrane is like the metal fence of the factory because it protects the cell (only letting certain things in and certain things out) in the same way that the metal fence only allow workers with special passes in or out.

The lysosome is like the smelter because it digests food and waste (rejects) in the same way that the smelter smelts down broken crayons.

The vacuole is like the scrap yard because it stores excess food and waste in the same way that the scrap yard stores the extra broken crayons.

The mitochondria are like the nuclear power core because it powers the cell in the same way the nuclear power core powers the entire factory.

Random

Random means something proceeding, made, or occurring without definite aim, reason, or pattern.  To get a sense of something that is random, it is something that has nothing to predict before, they only known once you look. Because of this, coin flips and rolling die are not intrinsically random; they are only random because of our ignorance. This is because if we could know every initial condition, the exact properties and conditions that play for a flip or roll, we could theoretically calculate the result before it even happens.  Sure enough, researchers have built coin-flipping robots which can precisely control a flip to get the result they want 100% of the time. We don't predict this often because it is extremely difficult. Large amounts of precision would be needed because the smallest difference between two initial conditions can be magnified overtime leading to chaotic extremely difficulty to predict results.

The Number 17

Seventeen is a number right after 16 and right before 18. In spoken English, 17 and 70 are both confused as they sound the same. When carefully pronounced, they differ in which syllable is stressed. However in dates such as 1798 or when contrasting in the teens (16, 17, 18, 19), the stress is moved to the first syllable. The number 17 has a wide significance in pure mathematics, as well as in applied sciences, law, music, religion, sports, and other cultural phenomena.

This number is described at MIT s "the least random number", according to hacker's lore. This is supposedly because in a study where respondents were asked to choose a random number from 1 to 20.

Globalization and How it Affects Us

Hello!
I spent a few days working on this blog post underneath, hope you people enjoy it!

Did you know that globalization affects us every day?  I believe most of the changes that globalization has caused us are positive. One example is pricing of goods. With globalization, pricing of goods can be lower. Many goods come from China, and in China many goods can be produced at a very little price. However, many jobs from our country go to countries like India where labor costs are cheap and environmental rules are not strictly enforced. Globalization affects  and me positively because of pricing of goods, new information technology (IT), and better quality of life.
Globalization is the unification of the world’s economy. It brings the world together, and it can bring world peace. Many countries import goods to one another in return of goods that import to them. This is one main reason why in stores we have strawberries when it's winter. This is because not in all countries it is winter, and so they can import out-of-season foods to countries that are in winter. However, this saps jobs from first-world countries to developing and third-world countries. Globalization drives consumer prices down, and it saves us more money and allows us to buy things year round.
Globalization also foresees a huge change in information technology (IT). This affects me because I can talk with people all over the world. Internet is a big help to globalization because I can post things on the Internet and people globally who have Internet can see it. Relating to the world, new IT can create new jobs. I can also order things on the Internet, specifically ones made in Asia because they are cheaper. I can find out what is happening in different countries without having to go there. In general, the Internet is a big thing of my life that affects me in a positive way.
Globalization is all about the world. Therefore, this includes widespread availability of global goods, services, and ideas positively impact lives of citizens. Examples of these can include more opportunities for international travel tourism; more chances to work abroad due to liberal immigrant laws and foreign worker programs, and especially worldwide entertainment- these include music, sports, fads, and pop culture. I also can buy things from other countries, as previously mentioned. With the new innovation of technology and the widespread distribution of foreign goods, globalization helps me live better.

In conclusion, globalization affects us positively because of pricing of goods, new information technology (IT), and better quality of life. Globalization is important to everyone because the world is one place, and it would be hard for countries to just ignore each other and mind their own business. Globalization brings benefits to people of the world.  At the same time, it unifies the world's economy and promotes interchange of world views, products, ideas, and other aspects of culture.

Lego Ad!

This Lego ad, although has very little pictures, has a strong meaning to it. Being paid by Lego, I believe these ads are geared toward kids, since I do not believe many adults play Lego for fun. This ad shows an arrangement of 5 bricks and its shadow is a realistic dinosaur. This shows that with Lego bricks, you can make anything you like with your imagination. I think this ad is very effective, since its use of very little pictures gives an obvious meaning of how great Lego can be in building things- it says that with little Lego, you can make anything you like. It shows how excellent Lego can be to unleash your imagination with just a few blocks.  Lego is an innocent toy, and this ad clearly shows gets the meaning of Lego across.

In this ad hyperbole and bribery is used. Hyperbole is used when the Lego bricks have a shadow of a dinosaur, but obviously the bricks don't actually have the shadow of that. Bribery is sort of used when the Lego bricks are made to have a shadow of a dinosaur. This may say that if you buy Lego, you can do magnificent things with it. The obvious message of this ad is to buy Lego. The hidden message is that if you buy it, you can make virtually anything you like with only a little amount of bricks.

Nerds

I don't understand why nerds are such an insult and a big thing these days. When I say something factual or something basic:

And usually the guy isn't even that smart. Even in French, usually when I say something basic in French, like 17- then basically the same thing happens up in the cartoon up there.
Bill Gates, one of the most successful people in the world, said this
I not saying be nice to just nerds- be nice to everybody- regardless of what they are.

Why I Don't Like Going to the Beach

I'm kind of an outdoor person myself, but I really don't like going to the beach. It's only with well known friends that I'm convinced to go.

Number One: The Bathroom

The Bad: I need to go to the bathroom more times than usual for some reason.
The Worse: The bathroom feels like a million miles away from where we are on the beach, and after eating, walking all the way over there gives stomach cramps and also, the sand makes it a lot slower and harder to walk.
Number Two: The Sand
The Bad: When it's super hot, the sand burns your feet like putting your hand on an oven that's been burning on it's highest for 10 minutes.
The Worse: When your trying to get somewhere far, your feet will be scorched.

Number Three: The Water
The Bad: Getting in the water- it's like ice at first.
The Worse: Walking on the sand and wearing Crocs- Sand flows in and mixes with the water and soon it's like walking on needles.

Buying a House vs Renting a House

An essay I wrote when I was really young.

Shelter is a need in human life. That means it is a must for life. Either renting or buying is possible. But it depends on the person who buys or rents it-  Are they planning to stay in one place? Are they a “Move and go person?"- That all depends on the person. They may vary in difference in who owns it, payment, and selling. Mostly you just find the advantages and disadvantages and then see which advantages and disadvantages are the best for you.
When you buy a house, it is yours. You own it. There is no person(landlord) to annoy you. You can do anything with it, put a new door, paint it, etc. When you rent a house, it's not actually yours, it's the landlords. You are just buying it from him/her to use the house. When something goes wrong, then the money has to come from you. There is stability.  When you rent a house, when something goes wrong, since it is the landlords, the landlord has to fix it. Landlords also give you rules, something like no pets in the house or no using the computer for more than 5 hours. So when you buy a house, anything can happen that can be disastrous to your neighbour.  As you see, there are differences between renting and buying a house.
Payment is also is another difference between renting and buying. When you rent a house you pay monthly for the house and the landlord pays for everything else. You don't have to be bothered by taxes or mortgages. But in reality, you are actually paying for something you will never own. On the other hand, when you buy a house, you pay once for the house, then you pay for everything else. The interest you pay each month on your loan balance is deductible. It is obvious to people that buying a house is money saving, but renting a house is cheaper and more better for less fortunate people.

Anything you own you can sell. It may take a long time, but it eventually will. Most people are impatient so they don't buy, they rent. When you rented a house and want to move, it's easy. They don't have to worry about anything. It is easier then to selling a house because you have to go through a lot of things and it sometimes gets on your nerves.

3D Printing- The Technology of the Future

3D Printing- The Technology of the Future
What would you print if you had a printer that could print anything? In England a technician scans the feet and ankles of Olympic sprinters and puts the data into a computer. The computer does a few quick calculations. The technician 3D prints new track shows that are customized for each athlete's unique body shape and weight, gait and tastes. 3D printing opens up new frontiers. Manufacturing and business as usual will be disrupted as regular people gain access to power of design and production. Intellectual property will be brought to its knees. In the not-so-distant future, people will 3D print living tissue, nutritionally calibrated food, and ready-made, fully assembled electronic components.
Printers come in two varieties. There's one which takes your paper and feeds it out with what you've printed. It prints in 2-D and can print out, say, a picture of a square. The other one I'm m going to be talking about. It's more interesting and can/ may save lives and can/may change the world. Having the name of 3-D printing, it can print 3-D objects (hence the name "3-D printer"). It can print that square that a "2-D printer" can make into a cube. It adds a third dimension to everything it can print. And it doesn't only print simple stuff. It can print out manmade organs, cars, and even food.
3D printing is a form of additive manufacturing technology where a three dimensional object is created by laying down successive layers of material. A 3-D printer can print something with length, width and height. And yeah, if you print ink on paper over and over again, it'll still stay flat. Its true- ink is not very useful for printing. But think about it- if you cut out that black square, put it down and then put another black square on top of that, and continue, it will start to look like a cube! And that's how 3-D printers work. They layer a layer on each of them, one at a time. They use melted plastic to do this (not all do, though). Using motors, they apply plastic to a flat surface, something similar to squeezing icing on top of a cake. They work similar to inkjet printers, only they don't use ink, to sum it up.
3D printers have many components to do their job. This makes these printers expensive. You can decide on an initial cost, ease of assembly and tech support, operating system compatibility, cost and type of filament, resolution/ nozzle diameter, and print bed size leveling. Printers cost around $1000- $3000, although some kit that require you to build the printer cost as low as $300. The 3D printers I’m talking about are the ones that print small trinkets, souvenirs, and things like that. 3D printers that print food and other expensive things (such as rocket components) can cost you a fortune. In addition to that, printers need a computer to do their job. Computers give the printer the instructions. Without a computer, the printer is paralyzed. You can download 3D printing software such as Tinkercad to work your 3D printer.
The Eiffel Tower cost 8 million francs, which would be 1 886 677.50 Canadian dollars at that time. It would take Canada $50 311 399.89 to build that same structure today. Imagine all that iron and paint to build the Eiffel Tower. What if there was a mistake? Clearly it would be a disaster.  But the architects were smart and so were the construction workers.  Physical models and digital both cost time and money, but unlike physical models, digital models can be easily modified once you make a mistake.
3D printing is not a new technology. It started in 1983 where Charles Hull was using UV light to harden tabletop coatings. Hull coined the term "stereolithography" (big word) in his U.S. Patent 4 575 330 (big number) given the name “Apparatus for Production of Three-Dimensional Objects by Stereolithography” issued on March 11, 1986. Stereolithography is a printing process that enables a tangible 3D object to be created from digital data. The technology is used to create a 3D model from a picture and allows users to actually test it before going on to do some bigger things that will cost them a lot of money. In 1992, the first SLA (stereolithographic apparatus) machine is produced by 3D systems(as you can tell by the name, it is a company which manufactures 3D printers).  Developed by scientists at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, in 1999, they engineered organs which bring new advances to medicine, including printing them. What made it interesting though is that the organs are made with the patient's own cells, so there's no risk of rejection. In 2002, scientists engineer a miniature functional kidney that is able to filter blood and produce diluted urine in an animal. Dr. Adrian Bowyer at University of Bath founds RepRap an open-source initiative to build a 3D printer that can print most of its own components, in 2005.  On 2006, the first SLS (selective laser sintering) machine becomes viable. This type of machine uses a laser to fuse materials into 3D products. This breakthrough opens the door to mass customization and on-demand manufacturing of industrial parts, and later, prostheses. The RepRap project , following its launch in 2005, releases Darwin, the first self-replicating printer. This is helpful because a guy who wants to make a printer for his friends can print out a 3D printer for his friends in 2008. That same year, Shapeways launches a private beta for a new co-creation service and community allowing artists, architects and designers to make their 3D designs as physical objects inexpensively. In 2009, you can build your own 3D printer instead of buying it pre-made. Also, Bioprinting innovator Organovo, relying on Dr. Gabor Forgacs’s technology, uses a 3D bioprinter to print the first blood vessel. In 2011, three major things in the term of 3D printing happened. The world’s first 3D printed robotic aircraft and the world’s first 3D printed car were done.  3D printing in gold silve3r also became possible. Three years ago, the first 3D-printed prosthetic jaw is implanted. These days you can 3D print just about anything- a wrist splint, a figurine that looks just like you, even components for rockets. Now food is here. One start-up, natural Machines, began printing savory meals like ravioli and pizza in the fall of 2013. Over in Germany, the 13-year-old company Biozoon has started printing easy-to-swallow pureed foods for senior citizens, molded to look like the real thing. And 3D systems will launch two commercial food printers, the ChefJet and the ChefJet Pro. As you can see 3D printing has been developing for decades.
I used to think 3D printing was not too interesting.  I was chosen to go to a city-wide science fair, and that meant high schoolers would come too. They did some pretty interesting things. One school did 3D printing, and then I thought it was pretty interesting. After doing this report, I found 3D printing could do quite a bit of things. 3D printing can print out prosthetic legs, arms, jaws, finger, and so on. In the future, you may wear 3D printed clothes, live in a 3D printed house, live in a 3D printed car, have a 3D printed robot servant, eat 3D printed food, enjoy 3D printed art, and so on. 3D printers can print almost anything. It will help us by printing things inexpensively and maybe send 3D printed food to people in poor countries(not now, that’s for sure). At the same time, 3D printed body parts can save countless lives by bringing abilities not otherwise with 3D printed body parts. Meanwhile, we will see better and more diverse materials coming to market as well as better printers with increased printing speed at reduced cost. 3D printing will make its way to many more classrooms in education as it’s the best maker tool to create objects and prototypes. And we will probably see Apple, Google or Amazon coming up with an own 3D-printers as soon as the consumer market is ready to burst.
As you can see, 3D printing is an amazing thing in this world. While we see 3D printing evolving, helping many people saving countless lives, this technology may save our world.  Be on the lookout for 4D printing- Skylar Tibbits is shaping the next development, to which they call 4D printing- where the fourth dimension is time. This emerging technology will allow us to print objects that then reshape themselves or self-assemble over time. Think: a printed cube that folds before your eyes, or a printed pipe able to sense the need to expand or contract. But going that far is too advanced now, but remember, the technology of this world is changing.

Violence in Schools- Speech

Violence in Schools
On April 16, 2007, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University had suffered 32 deaths in a violent shooting. On December 14 2012, Sandy Hook Elementary School suffered a shooting, with 26 deaths just as deadly as Virginia Tech. And in fact, these two school shootings were the deadliest in U.S. history. Even so, this is not only happening in the U.S.  It's occurring all over the world. Not just shooting, but violence.  Youth violence includes various behaviors. Some violent acts—such as bullying, hitting, or slapping—can cause more emotional harm than physical harm. Other forms of violence, such as gang violence, assault, and shooting can lead to serious injury or even death. School violence is widely held to have become a serious problem in recent decades in many countries, especially where weapons such as guns or knives are involved. It includes violence between students as well as physical attacks by students on school staff.
School violence is any form of violent activity or activities inside the school premises. It includes bullying, physical abuses, verbal abuses, brawl, shooting etc. Bullying and physical abuses are the most common forms of violence that is associated with school violence. Youth violence can be displayed through uttering threats. Threats can come in many forms including verbal, written, or online. Some specific examples of threats to school violence include creating or sharing hit-lists, conspiring and planning attacks, or talking extensively about violence, death, and weapons. Really, school shootings are rare and unusual forms of school violence, and they account for less than 1% of violent crimes in public schools, with an average of 16.5 deaths per year from 2001–2008. Just last year, on March 6, a gun was discharged, said to be accidental, in the crowded student centre around 10:45 p.m. at York University. No one was harmed.
Many people may wonder why school violence may happen.  But, school violence isn't easy to understand. There is no single reason students become violent. Some are just following the behavior they see at home, on the streets, or in video games, movies, or television (although most don't). Sometimes, people who turn violent are victims of teasing who've hit a limit and feel like they would do anything to make it stop. They may feel isolated and rejected by their peers.
This is recognized in every part of the world. The Education Minister of Queensland (Australia) said in July 2009 that the rising levels of violence in schools were "totally unacceptable" and admitted that not enough had been done to combat violent behaviour. In Wales, a 2009 survey found that two fifths of teachers reported have been assaulted in the classroom. 49% had been threatened with assault. The French Education Minister claimed in 2000 that 39 out of 75,000 state schools were "seriously violent" and 300 were "somewhat violent".
In my opinion, school violence is serious issue. We should be aware of this social issue, even if this does not affect us much. You can curtail violence- you can avoid alcohol and drugs, resist becoming a member of a gang, learn and practice the skills of communication and conflict resolution, and work on building you self-esteem. And schools are aware of this. Preventing school violence is going underway in many schools. Some schools have re-evaluated their safety needs answering to the concerns of families and communities. Some now require that guests check in at the office or have more guards on duty. Some schools have installed metal detectors, similar to the ones at airports. The greater awareness of problems such as bullying and discrimination also makes schools safer. There were less shooting in the 1990s than there are now today. Stephen Brock of California State University says "Not only are rates of school violence going steadily down, but it's clear that schools are the safest place for a student to be."

You're watching the news in your living room, and you see news of the latest shooting in a school, or the suicide from bullying. It's normal to feel sad about these and maybe even worry about whether this incident may happen to you. It's rare that school violence takes place on the scale of what happened at Sandy Hook or Virginia Tech. In general, schools are generally safer than cars. Twice as many 15- to 19-year-olds die in car accidents than in all kinds of shootings. But school violence is a serious global issue. It is important to know about school violence.

Flip Turn In Swimming

This post will be a little different than the others I posted. This is somewhat of a how to tutorial. In this post, I will explain how to do a freestyle flip turn if you don't already know. I had a lot of trouble with this for a few months.
A thing to consider: if you end up with a nose full of water and it feels like it's burning your nose, you probably did it wrong.

  1. Swim (freestyle) towards the wall.
  2. When you're above the "T", it's time to start the somersault. (the marker that tells you when to start your flip turn may differ from your pool and of course, your height) Also, make sure you have enough air before you tumble.
  3. Finish your stroke, kick one last kick, and tuck your head in- this is the most important part.
  4. Tuck your knees into your chest as tight as possible, and pull your feet to your butt.
  5. You'll find yourself on your back 6-18 inches under the water. This is exactly what should happen.
  6. Push off with both legs hard underwater, gradually turn around, and continue dolphin kicking until you resurface and continue freestyle.
Also, to prevent water from going up your nose, blow a steady stream of water from your nose during the flip. You may want to try nose plugs, but if you can blow water out of your nose it is not necessary.

Saving Money on Printing

Printing is big thing nowadays, especially with the people who want the hard copy of everything that is super long. Printing is energy consuming and uses a lot of paper (depends the length of the document you're using). Depending on the ink, paper, and printer you're using, printing also costs you money. Below are some tips on printing to help you save money on printing.

1. Ecofont

Ecofont is a special font that you can download. Its primary purpose is to help save ink by punching little holes (although you can see them if you make the font too big).It can help you save up to 20% of the ink normally, and also, the text still stays readable.
If you don't want to, you can simply just not use super big and bulky fonts. A good font I like is Century Gothic, which saves a considerable amount of ink.

2. Printing on Both Sides of the Sheet of Paper

This one helps you save paper as it cuts the amount of paper you need in half. If your printer has the option of printing double sided, use it! It can help you save up to $20 dollars per year on average.

3. Proofread Your Paper

Before you print, proofread your paper first before you print because if you print and you see a mistake, you're going to have to print it again and use up some ink.

4. Change Your Printer Settings

Printers use up a lot of ink per page, so changing a few things from your printing settings before you print them out may be worth considering.
  • Change the print quality to draft- not everything you print has to be suitable for framing, right?
  • If you can, change the printing to black and white- black is cheaper than the other color inks.

5. Only print what you need

If you want to print an article or something off the internet, chances are that there will be stuff on that page that you don't want. To solve this, go to www.printwhatyoulike.com and delete the ads and other stuff you don't need.

6. Don't Throw Away the Cartridge Yet

When the printer says "No Ink Left" most likely there's still a bit left in the cartridge  that you can use. Justn a tip to consider.

7. Try to Bypass it Entirely

To save ink and paper, try to bypass printing entirely. Use a pdf virtual printer which converts what you have to a pdf that you can email to other people. Get a hard copy of the document only when you absolutely need it.

Some Ways to Earn Money Online

Sometimes I just want to make a little extra pocket money. Online there are probably a million ways to earn some extra pocket money. The ideas are listed below.

Swagbucks

Swagbucks is one of my favorite ways to earn money online. Swagbucks is a loyalty program that will reward you virtual currency (Swagbucks, abbreviated SB) for stuff you do online. These include shopping, watching videos, answering surveys, discovering offers, using their search engine, and playing their online games. Also, if you have a minute spare time every day, you can do their Daily Poll (1 SB) and their Daily Offers (formerly NOSO, 2 SB) If you are on the the computer every day, then a near guaranteed 3 SB per day.

Ebates

Strictly speaking, Ebates isn't really making money, but instead saving money. However, they will send you a check every few months if you use them. They allow you to shop at an online store (they have over 1200) and make your purchase normally. Then they will give you part of what you bought (1%-25%) back to you.

Review Websites and Apps for Cash

If you have the spare time, you can review websites and apps for cash, on websites like UserTesting.com. They give you $10 via Paypal for every review you make.

Qmee

If you search online with Google, Bing, or Yahoo, you can download a simple add-on to your browser from www.qmee.com to earn some cash. When you search something up, there will be some sponsored results on your left sides with cash rewards attached to it.

Answer Surveys Online

On some websites you answer surveys for free and earn a cash reward in return. Such as Toluna and Vivatic, there are also a lot of other survey websites to earn money from.

Sell Your Notes

If you're a student and takes a lot of notes in class, then you could type them up (if not already) and sell them on sites like Notesale. They allow you to put them up on the site for free but take a cut of what you gain so you don't have to promote them yourself.

Others ways include
  • Starting your own website
  • Buy or sell domain names
  • Google Adsense- to have this you need to have a google account
  • Write and publish an ebook
  • Part-time job
  • Sell things on sites like Amazon and Ebay
  • Create Youtube Videos
